The Fever of Social Media

India might be lagging behind in the field of literacy but in the internet field she has left behind even US. Today not only the youngster but also the old people are found scrolling down the Facebook screen. Everyone is eager to update himself in many different ways. To my surprise 70% of people invest their time on social networks like Facebook or WhatsApp and on music and entertainment apps. When compared to other countries India is leading everyone. Americans spend a good amount of time on news, commerce and gaming. On an average Indians spend 200 minutes a day on mobile apps, lower than the US average of 300 minutes a day. Of the 40% is spent on social media and communication, of which 38% on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and 2% on others. India has dominance over US in the field of social media. They spend 33% on social media and communication, of which 18% on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and 12% on others. Today 95% internet data is consumed by WhatsApp and Facebook in India. In the field of entertainment YouTube is leading with 47%. It is better space for everyone of us to make use of the space and make one’s development. ShareChat is one app that is doing well in India. Many companies have come out to lure the people by sending Good Morning messages like gif, png and jpeg. Songs, slides, short films, motivational speeches, and many more creative things have compelled the people to share between friends and relatives on social media. The world does regard the creative people. So be creative and prove yourself the stage is all for you.
